PROFILE Name: Ha Dong Kyun 하동균 Date of birth : June 28th, 1980 Physique : 175cm, 63kg Religion : Christianity Hobbies : Listening to music, driving, computer games BIOGRAPHY Ha Dong Kyun first debuted onto the music scene in 2002 with the R&B group 7Dayz. After one album, the group disbanded with band leader Lee Jung leaving (and subsequently carving a successful solo career for himself). Ha Dong Kyun and other 7Dayz bandmates, Suh Jae Ho and Jeon Sung Hwan then got together with Kim Jae Suk to form R&B group Wanted under M-Boat Entertainment. After a successful debut in 2004, Wanted soon met with an accident resulting in the loss of Suh Jae Ho. Wanted was suspended and there was to be no apparent activity from any of the members. Ha Dong Kyun's work was limited to works on OSTs until his surprise solo debut in 2006 under Warner Music Korea. His solo album, Vol.1 Stand Alone, showcases a powerful, husky voice behind his slight frame and delicate looks. The main theme of his album, 그녀를 사랑해줘요 Geunyeoreul Saranghaejweoyo (Please Love Her), received massive attention even before his official promotion. His solo album sold remarkably well for a considerably new artiste and he has achieved success as a solo singer. Ha Dong Kyun is predominantly a ballad singer as most of his songs on his solo are powerful and dramatic ballads.
