Hypertropic are an elctro punk band from Nuneaton, UK. To date Hypertropic have only recorded four tracks which have been made available for free public download on their myspace site and reverbnation site. Hypertropic are John Koerner (bass and programming) and Steven Stringer (vox, guitar and programming). They play mid tempo to fast punk mixed with a variety of backing percussion and synths which are influenced by various styles of music such as punk, metal, techno and drum n bass. On the 4th May 2009 the Hypertropic song 'Guns' received world wide airplay on BBC 6 Music radio station during the Tom Robinson 'Introducing' slot. Hypertropic are currently playing small venues in the UK whilst writing and recording new material.
