HDQ started out playing political Hardcore Punk in the latter half of the 80's, much similar to bands like Anti-System, Anihilated, Insurrection etc, and they released the Hung, Drawn & Quartered 12" in 1985 as well as featuring the song "Take Control" on the "Relying On Us" 7" compilation with bands like Oi Polloi and Stone The Crows. Later they started playing a more arty\grunge kind of music, which is not so strange as 3 of the members were in Leatherface as well.
