Gurban Abbasli was born in one the ancient cities of Azerbaijan called Sheki. During his childhood one can feel his deep sense of music and interest to it, so that he had strongly involved himself to music. When he was only 9 years old he began to play on tar, the oldest folk instrument of Azerbaijan,& got music education at Shaki Music School # 2. While receiving a classic musical education, he was interested to world music and listening to an electronic music. He was impressed by such kind of music, (especially ATB 9 p.m "Till I come"), so that he decided to make his own and first electronic music & made it in his first instrument Yamaha 740 sintezator. After graduating his music school in his home town Shaki he moved to the capital Baku and continued his education at the university over there. Although he got a bachelor and master degree on journalism he didn't stop his musical activities. During the university years he began to work as a DJ at underground clubs in Baku. His recent acquaintance with Rustam Shukurov, DJ Redrum, Ilgar Khaligov and team Green SKY records http://www.greenskydigital.com/ helped him to release his first ambient album "Flying High" . After firs sigle album he relised single "Reflection Of The Past" http://www.junodownload.com/products/reflection-of-the-past/1418242-02/ .
