There are at least 2 artists that share the name Gunz: 1) a rapper from Springfield, Mass. USA; 2) a rapper from the island nation Seychelles. 1) Gunz, was born in Springfield, Mass. on February 14,1985. Growing up in an era when rap was arguabley at its best, Gunz has many influences. Influences such as Notoriuos B.I.G, Big L, Bone Thugs, Nas, Jay-Z, and The Lox. But it wasn't until DMX's "Flesh of my flesh Blood of my blood" album that Gunz took his love for music further and started writing lyrics of his own. Once nothing more then a music lover, Gunz started taking his craft more seriously and began hittin' up the booth. It wasn't until '07 when Gunz, 22 had started working on his first mixtape "It's About Time Vol.1" with long time friend Sos of Menace Records. Shortly after finishing "It's About Time", Gunz started working on his first solo mixtape "Day of Wrekoning". Both mixtapes dropped locally in '07. Shortly after dropping "Day of Wrekoning", Gunz and Sos started recording "It's About That Time Vol.2". Which was recorded in '08 also at Menace Records Studios. 08 proved to be a very busy year for Gunz. He opened for Red Cafe July 4 at Club Memories in Springfield,Mass. He was also performing at other various local clubs, to recording and dropping his second solo mixtape "Mixtape Madness". On top of all this he started working on his first solo original album. Executively Produced by Magnum and Prafacy of Menace Records. It dropped April 2009. Not stopping
