Guns Go Bang! is a six piece band based in South Africa's metal scene. Guns Go Bang! originated from the East Rands Edenvale suburbs, or better known to their fans as the 1610. The band took form in 2008 and after a few changes in the line up began taking shape and creating the sound of Guns Go Bang! The genre has been described as some what original but with influences and melodys tracing to hardcore, deathcore and metalcore. What makes them unique and stands out is defiantly vocalist Chris Richards' dynamic and high pitched 'pig squeals'. Though one has to listen before one can truly understand and apreciate the nature of what has just been said. In 2009 the EP, Welcome to the 1610 was released all over the country and has proven to be a great success. What the future holds for Guns Go Bang! is unknown, but by the looks of things it holds great promise, so keep an eye out and an ear open!
