Guggenmusik (or "Guggemoseg", "Guuggemusig" or "Chatzemusig") is a style of Carnival marching band music practised in the Alemannic region of Switzerland, southern Germany and Austria. It is characterized by easily recognizable melodies carried forward by a robust rhythm section. Gugg'Dragons consists of approximately 48 members. The traditionally costumed revelers began playing in earnest in 2004 in Chermignon, Switzerland.
