Guarnerius is a Mexican power metal band. After the end of of the band Leprycorn, the singer Alonzo Cano and the keyboarder Eric Fuentes founded Guarnerius With Oscar Ibarra(drums), Fernando Zapata(guitar), and Fernando Trejo(bass). They started in March 2001 playing cover songs of Helloween, Stratovarious, Symphony X among others. Soon they wrote own compositions which are influenced by these bands, with more parts of classical music.
