Grief of War is a Japanese thrash metal band formed in 2003 by Manabu Hirose (bass/vocals) and Hiroyuki Inoue (guitars), now also with Ken Sato as second guitarist and Isao Matuzaki as actual band's drummer. The group released "A Mounting Crisis... as Their Fury Got Released" in May 2005 in Japan on through the Yggr Drasill label. The album was released in all other territories outside Japan on February 19, 2008 through Prosthetic Records. Grief of War's second album will be released worldwide through Prosthetic Records in early 2009.
