Grid System has been a producer and DJ for over 10 years with releases as one half of Flytrapp Productions and Beam Strategic on the mighty Limbo Records and ground-breaking Quad Communications (RIP). More recent productions and remixes have appeared on Composure Records – a label he is also the creative director for, developing cover designs and maintaining their website (www.composurerecords.co.uk). A music junkie. He spent his teenage years playing guitar in a number of ‘unique’ sounding bands playing numerous gigs for charity. They all walked the walk, talked the talk (and drank the drink...) So, frustrated with the limitations of playing in a standard four piece band he started to remix some of their demo tapes on a four-track recorder and his brother’s Amiga 500. The band couldn’t see what was wrong with the tracks in the first place – Grid System could, and subsequently went his own way...
