Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Greg developed a taste for great food and great music! He sadly had to leave those roots for Nashville in 1985 and quickly became a recognized for all the talents and energy he brought from his hometown. In an effort to help revive the business of music in Louisiana, Barnhill works tirelessly with local artists and musicians on his trips back home. His latest singer/songwriter CD "No Chaser," displays that energy in exceptionally creative writing, vocal artistry, and musicianship on guitar. Eclectic but convincing, Greg shares his authenticity with Pop, Country, R&B, and Rock. More evidence of his command of music, is evident in his recent CD "Christmas Gumbo" featuring artists from Aaron Neville, Allen Toussiant, Irma Thomas, Marba Wright and other greats. The true music insider, and millions of music fans praised the acclaimed Grammy nominated hit, "Walkaway Joe," with superstars Trisha Yearwood and Don Henley.
