Caught between London and Cambridge but inspired by the US West Coast’s ever growing Low End Theory scene, Greenwood Sharps has already won over a host of influential fans with his mixture of clattering rhythms and sleek beats. Jamie xx is a fan and contacted Greenwood Sharps after he first heard the track ‘Leucosia.’ The influence of Mount Kimbie runs through the recently released ‘Things Familiar’ EP as well as the distant rumblings and ghostly vocals of James Blake. The vocals you hear belong to the producer himself. In addition to the EP, a double A-Side single is being finished up as we speak.
