Great Deeds are an alternative punk band from Sheffield, England. They play songs that are a bit faster than they should be, more melodic than people first think they would be, and are much more complicated as they first sound. It's still punk...just in 7/8. When Great Deeds formed in late 2010, Ben and Tom thought they were starting a punk band. Chris had a secret noodly agenda. Tom wasn't fond of Chris at first. Chris was fond of noodling. Ben liked to break dance. Eventually they decided to ignore their original misgivings of each other and powered forward. Tom soon realised he didn't dislike Chris as much as he thought. Chris realised he didn't hate subway as much as he thought and Ben realised he couldn't break dance. Great Deeds have self released 2 EPs, played many, many gigs and eaten a heck of a lot of Subway sandwiches. They now quite like each other... Kind of. "We try to get along.
