Artist
Great Big Canadian A! was an indie/folk-punk band from the Austin, TX/New Braunfels area that formed in 2005 featuring Tristen Brenner (singer/songwriter/instrumentation) and Grady Drugg (backing vocals/instrumentation/drums) along with with various friends of theirs, though Brenner and Drugg were the only official members. The duo disbanded in 2008. On their first album, Sick of Seymour, they had a very minimalistic sound containing only an acoustic guitar, electric lead, harmonica, and toy piano they then developed into a more experimental band using full-band techniques and instrumentation. Great Big Canadian A! releases all of their albums for free download on the GBCA! myspace page: www.myspace.com/greatbigcanadiana.
