Grandfather Child is an indie rock band based in Houston, Texas, Their music blends classic rock and pure soul. In 2010, the band released Waiting for You, named Best EP / 7” 2010 by Houston Press Music Awards. Grandfather Child members are some of the premiere indie artists in the southwest. Current lineup includes Lucas Gorham (vocals, lap steel guitar), Geoffrey Muller (guitar), Robert Ellis (bass), Ryan Chavez (drums).
