Grand Pop Station is a swedish band with Staffan Öfwerman, lead vocals. Per Hesselrud, guitars. Sonny Forsberg, bass. Robert Wirensjö, keyboards. Jan 'Isak' Isaksson, drums. The band released their debut single, 'Daddys little boy' in november 2009 and is working on new material to be released in 2010. The members of the band used to be full time musicians, playing behind many of the swedish artists and bands. The lead singer used to be a member of the Roxette band, recording and touring around the world for a couple of years. The keyboard player in Grand Pop Station even played with Cliff Richard in Australia(!). The single went top 30 on iTunes most downloaded songs on the day it was released and the track is still being played on radio around the world. In february, 2010 the band also made a video for the single, which is up on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/grandpopstation There is also a very unique and popular home page for the band at http://www.grandpopstation.com Make sure to sign in on the site to get all the good stuff.
