Gran General D was born in Zaragoza and is an MC & producer recognized in the Zaragoza scene. At the beginning of the '90s, after a couple of unsuccessful formations, Gran General D formed his first group with Urban (now called Poetic Justice), named Rapadelic Comite. They recorded their first demo Why Do You Want to Be a Gangster? in those years (93-94). In 1995, Rapadelic Comite ended up as a group and General D put its first demo on sale obtaining solid results. In this demo, General D and La Mafia del Funk would feature collaborations with names such as HATE (Violadores del Verso), Larone Mc (Mision Hispana), Shadow, Rebel, CLAAN, DJ Hash and DJ POTAS. In 1996, the group EL NUEVO COMITE (The New Committee) emerged from the union of General D and Shado. In that year they also made their first demo in which they collaborated with LIRICO (Violadores del Verso), Presion, Allan Beler, and DJ Hash. He also collaborated in the demo for hip-hop group BUFANK, which consisted of three members: Hate, Presion, and General D. In 1999, after returning from a long period of time through the streets of South Central, Los Angeles, Gran General D released his second solo album La Vida Verde (The Green Life), recorded in Gran General D's home studio he had in his motel located in Crenshaw Boulevard.
