Artist
Graham Knox Frazier has been a House music producer ever since he was signed to TNT Records by Todd Terry in 1996. Currently he has 6 top 12 albums on CMJ's RPM chart and 3 top 10 that were released over the last 2 years. Graham learned how to produce electronic music by watching Mateo & Matos do their thing. Graham grew up surrounded by New York City's club and music scene. He fell in love with the sounds of Afrika Bambaattaa at The ROXY, all of the incredible music acts that performed there like LL Cool J, The Fat Boys, Grand Master Flash and the Furious Five and you can't forget Rock Steady Crew, tearing up the dancefloor. At an early age he was hooked on soul, hip hop, disco and dance music. By age 12 he bought his first pair of Technics belt drive turntables and the record collecting began, that was back in 1981. It was a great year to start buying vinyl. In 1985 he found his love of mixing hip hop and dance music and stepped it up to mixing with Technics 1200's turntables that he still has today. He DJ'd parties all through college and after. Moving back to NYC after college, he was a DJ for fashion designers doing music for runway shows at Bryant Park, NYC. He also did private parties and played at select clubs in Manhattan like Tattoo, The Supper Club, Doubles and private parties at The Hayden Planataruim. Nightlife in NYC in the 80's and 90's was amazing, and he spent many nights at Paladium, The Saint, The World, Danceateria, Area, Limelight, The Tunnel, Webster H
