GRAD style: rock, alter BIOGRAPHY & DISCOGRAPHY: 1985. The band was formed. At first, it consisted of: Dean Škaljac – vocals Willy Babić - bass Orijen Modrušan – guitar Igor Stevanović – guitar Danijel Benčik – keyboards Siniša Banović - drums 1986. The group had it's first gig in a club called Palach. After that they manage to accomplish what no other band ever did before or after that. In only one year they played on all four biggest rock festivals in the former Yugoslavia: YURM (Zagreb), Novi Rock (Ljubljana), and festivals in Subotica and Zaječar (they won second place on last one mentioned). 1987. Compilation called "Rijeka-Paris-Texas" (Helidon / FV založba) was released. Besides Grad, "Grč", "Ogledala", "Let 3", "Strukturne ptice", "Fit" and "Idejni nemiri" worked on compilation. Drummer Siniša Banović abandones the band and joins "Let 3". Pjer Ladavac (ex Paraf) filles his spot. Grad shares first place with "KUD Idijoti", "Mizara", "Tužne uši" and "Indust bug" on guitar festival in Subotica. Their songs were published on LP called "Legendarni uživo". Grad also won Polet's prize, for best live preformance. 1988. Another compilation called "Najbolji u živo" was released. 1991. Band's first album called "Ljudi" was released. (Nema problema) 1993. Band finishes their second album called "Amerika" (Nema problema) and the compilation "The Best of Indie Rock - made in Croatia" (Dancing Bear) Danijel Benčik and Pjer Ladavac abandoned the group.
