Fate took Grace Weber from Wisconsin, a National Award Winner in Popular Voice, and put her in an NYU dorm right next to Julian Pollack from California, a National Award Winner in Jazz Piano. Grace and Julian soon found each other in the piano room, and discovered a shared love of soul, pop and jazz music (along with an identical 6.28.88 birthdate!). Songwriting together soon followed, and within weeks they began playing at campus and local venues. Grace and Julian recorded their first album, with all original material, at Avatar Studios (NY) in 2007. Their sophomore year, they performed at top Manhattan clubs and at colleges from Connecticut to Wisconsin. Grace and Julian recently recorded their second album in the fall of 2008, following a California and Midwest tour with their drummer, Adam Jackson, and bass player, Jayme Silverstein. In the past year and a half, Grace and Julian have played over 40 self-booked and self-promoted shows, released two full length original albums, and have created a buzz and a fan base in NYC and around the country. Grace Weber - Grace is an emerging singer/songwriter with a rich, soulful voice and an impressive list of accomplishments at the young age of 20. She has appeared on the TODAY SHOW, SHOWTIME AT THE APOLLO, at the KENNEDY CENTER, and was invited to sing at the wedding of Mia Hamm and Nomar Garciaparra. She was also invited to sing at the 2006 ELLA AWARDS in Beverly Hills, CA, where she sang on the same stage as industry giants Dio
