Gore Elohim is the artist formerly known as Goretex. After a major falling out with everyone at Psycho+Logical-Records he was unable to legally continue to record using the name Goretex. Gore was a member of New York-based hardcore hip-hop group Non Phixion and underground hip-hop group The Circle of Tyrants. In Gore's universe the whole world is tragedy: Religion, love, family, childhood, friendship, community, and injustice take center stage. His work is characterized by his honest and unapologetic vulgar treatment of mainstream culture and the underlying hypocrisies that exist in that contemporary society. His stories maintain at their core, an anti-moralistic and anti-religious edge using unflinching visual violence. His blasphemy is so frank that it cannot be ignored.
