Gordy Garris Group, is an Alternative|Indie Rock band from Saginaw, Michigan. The band is a brand new, unsigned artist in music. The group is set to release their debut studio album in August of 2014. 19-year old lead singer/songwriter Gordy Garris, started playing the guitar at age 9 and playing the piano at age 13. He helped to form his band, Under Fire in high school in 2009. He has continued with songwriting and composing music since Under Fire's disbanding in the summer of 2013. From there he went on to form the Gordy Garris Group. Garris is currently in the studio working on the release of his debut album, with over 200 songs, self written. His debut album, entitled "Music Masquerade" is set to release in the fall of 2014. Singles off of the album, which have already gone on sale to the public include, "Hater," "Deep Inside" and "Back To Me." Garris's songs reflect the everyday struggles of a teenager growing up in today's society; dealing with loneliness, heartbreak, bullying, and all the while, trying to find yourself as a person.
