Headspin got rave reviews in Scandinavia, got chosen as one of the year's most important jazz albums in France, got picked up by Sony Jazz in Tokyo and won the Swedish Grammy award for best jazz album 2004. He is of Croatian origin. His father is a jazz pianist born in Zagreb, member of the famous Zagreb Jazz Quartet founded in 1959.
