From Collingswood, NJ. With Mike Schraeger writing the majority of songs and Jonah Delso and Ian Charlton contributing with some of their own tunes, the band’s sound is diverse, yet cohesive. Always constant are Schraeger’s well-placed guitar riffs and Delso’s bass lines that are sure to move your feet. Combine that with Mike Ziegler’s powerhouse drumming, Faith Charlton’s haunting vocal harmonies and synth counter melodies, and Ian’s strat-twanging guitar and you have Goodnight Lights. The band's sound encompasses the charm and diversity of Pavement and the Velvet Underground. This is mixed with the twisted pop sensibilities of Pixies and Built to Spill and raw urgency of the Replacements, Arcade Fire and the Stooges.
