Chicago based, Goodnight Criminals, hit the ground running in 2012 with their debut release, “Liars, Thieves, and Pretenders”. The five-song E.P. gained industry attention, spawning a promotional supporting tour. Their brand of electronic rock continues to captivate audiences. The song structure goes beyond catchy choruses and tight melodic hooks to bolster their own blend of analog synths, sequencing, and organic instruments. Founded by Producer/Songwriter and I: Scintilla guitarist, Brent Leitner, the band is comprised of Chicago musicians, Troy Leitner on guitar, Adam Schweibenz on bass, and Brant Maze of New Rising Sun on drums. In mid-2012, Goodnight Criminals released a re-mix album of their inaugural effort. The E.P. featured modified renditions by Midnight Conspiracy, Nynex, and Mend. To close out the year, songwriter, Brent Leitner, is back in the studio writing and producing songs for the band’s next release, due out early 2013.
