Goodbye, Goodnight is a progressive screamo/metalcore band from Albuquerque, NM formed in the summer of 2009. After a short hiatus over the winter, the band reformed in early 2010 with newfound bassist Micah Williams. Once back to playing shows, Goodbye, Goodnight soon proved themselves to be one of the fastest growing and premier acts on the Albuquerque hardcore scene, drawing large crowds at every show, headlining the first ever show at The Fusion Factory, and taking first place at a Gorilla Productions battle of the bands. In October of 2009, the group released a self-released, self-titled, demo EP and is currently about to go into the studio release a professionally recorded version of the EP in the near future. Drawing influence from acts like Burden of a Day, The Word Alive, and The Fall of Troy, the six piece has been defined by their wide range of vocal styles, technical guitar work, heavy bass lines, above-par drumming and overall unique feel to their music.
