Goodbye Horses is Mirco Chiavelli’s solo project (Sex Offenders Seek Salvation, Maybe Happy and other local bands, emerged between Mantua and Modena). Constant presence at Barchessone Vecchio and one of Bob Corn’s close friends, for this project he entrusts the artistic and refining production to the Mantuan Luciano Ermondi (Tempelhof). Many collaborations have been realized. In addition to the above mentioned, Any Other (Adele Nigro’s new extolled project – former Lovecats) is present with a track which entitles the entire work. Seven intimate and dancing songs you can share with your close friends or with the new ones, which are able to emphasize a deep melancholic mood, peeping out through stratifications and easy pop refrains. “I had never thought about having a solo project. I just needed to be busy in a period when I used to sleep few hours per night, after the earthquake. I already had the machines, abundance of time and insomnia as well. An old s drum machine at 120 bpm, a Korg with a synchronized arpeggiator,a couple of microphones, some good wave basses. All this stuff connected to an audio card sent to me from Naples. So I started this cut-and-paste project and at the end I had 7 tracks which are half-dance, half something else. Inside them, weariness, delusions, hopes. Basically everything I decided not to keep for myself. That’s what Goodbye Horses is. I’ve just added some reverberation, while many friends of mine put a lot of passion and resolution in it. All o
