GodWatt Redemption begin their activity in june 2006, when three friends, tired of monothony and dissatisfaction of the musical scene of their own province, deeply moved by low tune and sulphureus notes, decide to "set up" a hard rock-stoner/doom band...The proposal came from the guitarist-singer Moris 'Iommi' Fosco,(32) pushed by the monolithic bass player Mauro "Motorgeezer" Passeri (31)...After having tested several musicians, they decided that it was better to carry on in 3 and recruited Andrea 'JunkiE' Vozza(21) on drums. From this moment on the band began its activity with summer intense jam sessions. There were ideas and the desire to perform and have an audience. After several months of exhausting sessions, they decided that it was the moment to record a demo, at the end of december... the recording ended in february at the Ressole Studios in Sora near Rome-. The demo contains 4 tracks. From now on, the band began its heavy live activity pressing down numerous stages of Italy, they took part also at the TRASH YOUR DOOM FEST in Rome (October 07), "TUBE CULT FEST" in Pescara (April 08), STONED HAND OF DOOM 4 (the most important doom fest in italy) and "SWEET LEAF" in summer '08. At the moment the band release its first full lenght, titled THE HARD RIDE OF Mr. SLUMBER, self produced, which will contain 9 heavy&groovy tracks about the adventures of this crazy and bizarre man, through psychedelic hells and imaginary landscapes.
