Gods of Gaia is the solo vision of guitarist and composer Kevin Sierra, founded in 2023 after his tenure with German metal acts Parasite Inc. and Hackneyed. Drawing inspiration from the ancient myth of Gaia — the mother of all gods and the embodiment of the Earth — the project channels a deep disdain for humanity’s arrogance in placing itself above nature and creation. Initially conceived as an orchestral death metal studio project, Gods of Gaia soon evolved toward a darker, more aggressive sound—fusing black and death metal with sweeping orchestral arrangements. Sierra’s music is as much a soundtrack to ancient wrath as it is a critique of modern decay, uniting the grandeur of myth with the raw force of extreme metal.
