In 2002, Robert Pollard of Guided By Voices and too many side-projects to mention here, joined forces with Mac McCaughan of Superchunk and Portastatic to create twelve tracks of pure pop bliss which they named Calling Zero. Mac presented Bob with a bed of beautiful instrumentals, and in turn, Bob has delivered lyrical magistery and vocal performances that only he could top.
