Glowing Glisses are Florian Schirmacher and Guido Schneider. Guido Schneider has been an active producer for years, releasing mainly on his label “Neue Welten”. Not isolating himself to his studio and always testing his productions live, he has produced and coproduced(i.e. with Sammy Dee) tracks that are not only minimal but extremely functional as well as performing a number of his productions live. The musical roots of Florian Schirmacher- a once instrumentalist in several bands, can be found in 70’s jazz and soul; however he started to intensify his relationship to electronic music after meeting Guido Schneider one day while out jogging. Ironically while catching his breathe, an intensive discussion took place about their musical passions, which lead to their first studio session shortly afterwards. Florian’s voice and Guido’s studio experience proved to compliment each other superbly and the Glowing Glisses was born.
