Glory of Joann have been together for less than two years and they already have gigged relentlessly throughout Germany and even showcased at the international music products trade fair in Frankfurt in March 2008. Their debut album “Glory of Joann” was home produced. A few songs received extensive airplay on various radio stations. In June 2008 Glory of Joann will play their first ever gigs in America (at the music products trade fair in Nashville, Tennessee). In 2008 Glory of Joann won the biggest German student band contest and got rewarded - by a professional and famous jury - with a gig at Germany’s biggest festival “Rock am Ring” alongside artists like Incubus, Rage Against the Machine, Metallica, Motörhead and Queens of the Stone Age. They will also play a bunch of other festivals with international acts (like “boy hits car”) or other famous national acts (like “Revolverheld”). Glory of Joann combine different influences of rock music in their own way and try to create their own special style. They mix guitar-riffs with melancholic and sometimes groovy melodies.
