There are two bands that use/have used the Gloombound name, both from Norway. 1. Gloombound from Oslo, Norway Gloombound is a Funeral Death/Doom band formed in 2021. 2. Gloombound from Arendal, Norway Formed in 2007 as “Forest of Necromancy”, by Andreas Andersen (rhythm guitar and lead vocals) and Henrik J. Ankervold (lead guitar and backing vocals). Summer -08 the drummer, Edward, joined in, and from there on the band played some small local concerts. Winter -09, Ida became the bands keyboard player. Early winter -10 the bassplayer Hans joined in, making the band complete. Autumn -10 Henrik decided to leave the band. 2 years later, the band found a new lead guitarist and changed their name to Gloombound.
