Post-Punk/Alternative Rock band from Pistoia (late 80's-beginning of the 90's - Tuscany) The Glomming Geek were an italian post-punk band actives from the second half of the 80's. First record released in 1990 by V.I.T.R.I.O.L., influenced by american noise rock sound, Birthday Party and Nick Cave & Bad Seeds. Two years later the band produces with Wide Records their second record: 'Dig a Hole in The Sky', a work comes from a well groomed mix of noise rock, industrial and psychedelic tendencies. Last shot of the band the 7 inches single 'Soul Without Stains / Great Western Machine, Wide Records1994. In the period of activity they were able to open concerts of bands such Gun Club, Leaving Trains, Fugazi, Screaming Tree and Unsane.
