There are at least three artists using the name Gloaming: 1) Gloaming is an international death/doom metal band. Originally founded in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, DC in 2011, in 2014 sole member J.C. expanded the project to a full lineup of musicians from the US, Finland, Australia and South Korea. The band plays a filthy, old-school style of death/doom with an emphasis on heavy riffs and an occult atmosphere along with lyrics musing on legends from the dark, forgotten parts of mid-Atlantic folklore. The band released it's debut album, "Keep Close the Watchfires" digitally via bandcamp on March 16th, 2015. A CD release will come soon. 2) I make my music using only computer softwares. No real instruments recorded. 3) Gloaming is a band from Burlington, VT that uses real instruments. No computers.
