Glenn Gillis began his interest for music at the age of 14. At the age of 16, his very first garage band was called "The Flowers" playing hits such as Yummy Yummy, Jumping Jack Flash, Lets Live For Today, Time Won't Let Me,G L O R I A, Crimson And Clover,,etc. But his very first weekend gig was actualy playing bass in a western band, obviously it didn't last very long. After several practices with "The Flowers" they began playing in school dance halls every weekend. Of course the style then was: long hair, patched jeans, and sandles. The sign of peace was everyones slogan. As a year would pass, their popularity flourished and they were asked to play at the first biggest pop festival in Rouyn Noranda. They shared the stage with names such as Aprin Wine, Mashmakan, Higgen's Hill, and meny more.In 1969 they changed their name for "The Crocus Showfall" the band was winning jam contests in Val-Dor their home town and all over Abitibi. Unfortunetly the Band would brake up in 1972, but Glenn was always on the move forming new bands and changing styles from pop, Hard rock: classic Rock, and then trying something new which he fell in love with... BLUES. Of course Blues and Booze go together, but all that suddenly stopped in 1980, Glenn never tuched the stuff after that. In the year 2000 he formed The Corruptibles Abitibi's best blues band. He was asked to play a video topo for a TV program called "Les Chois de Sophie" Télé Québec. Their very first blues festival was in Rouyn Noran
