Glen Gabriel has been involved in the world of music since very early age. When Glen was born, his father (Anders Jansson) was managing some of the most famous artists in Sweden such as Per Gessle. At the age of 7 Glen had already met the Swedish winners in the Eurovision Song Contest 6 years in a row, all part of the Management company owned by his father. As a child, Glen took lessons from Carola Häggkvist's singing teacher. He then met with pianist Per-Erik Hallin (the only Swede who ever toured with Elvis Presley) which advised Glen in music. From having met many artists in his childhood including the family friend and world famous artist Chick Corea, it was only natural Glen wanted to become an artist himself. Glen was always very fascinated of what he could learn from these very great and talented artists. One Christmas he got to meet with Astrid Lindgren in her home (the fantastic Swedish children's book author and screenwriter who have written many books including the Pippi Long-stockings books). Glen became good friends with Astrid upon where she gave him specially signed books each time they met. One thing Glen learned from these fantastic artists was the simplicity of art and music. He understood the importance of creating and to never be bound by any rules in doing so. Between the age of 7 and 8, Glen started teaching himself to play the piano and his method was quite simple: he played by ear. After having tried piano lessons, which didn't work out for
