Biography Glen was born in 1974 and raised in Dublin City Centre. Introduced to music at a young age by his father and well-known harmonica player / musician / actor Don Baker. Glen quickly developed a love for playing the harp (Blues Harmonica) writing songs and performing. Glen is a self-thought musician who has been entertaining audiences as a professional singer and harmonica player in various bands since 1993 and has spent many years in Ireland and abroad singing and playing the harmonica in venues, clubs and pubs. In 2001 Glen attended Ballyfermot Senior College (the rock school) for two years to develop his song writing skills and musical ability’s. Since then Glen has been working hard gigging around Dublin and Ireland. Glen has also had the pleasure of playing harmonica alongside David Gray in the Olympia Theatre Dublin, played support for Damien Rice and played harmonica on the Aslan’s Platinum Collection album. In March 2007 Glen started to record his original material that he had been working on for some time for his debut album called My Blood. It was recorded mainly in The Nutshed residential studio Offaly and Westland Studios Dublin. Mastered in Fluid mastering Hammersmith London. All songs have been written, arranged, produced and performed by Glen Baker. Songs that have been inspired by true events, people, friends and family, songs with depth, honesty and substance. Glen has joined up with some of Irelands finest, established and up and coming musicians
