The band was formed in 1999 in function of a 'music(al)-day' at their college and was called 'Funnytown'. Initially the band consisted of Thomas Schmook (vocals), Toon Janssen (guitar), Wout Engels (Synthesizer) and Willem Hermans (Drums). Then after about 3 months Wouter Aertgeerts joined the band. The first few months their playlist consisted of covers, however, they did start to write their own songs fairly soon. After approximately one year they then changed their name to 'Glazed'. In 2006 Willem Hermans quit the band to concentrate on his studies, and Tom Lambrechts became their new drummer for about one year. Nevertheless in the year 2007, Tom decided to leave Glazed. Subsequently Maxime D'hulst stepped up to fill the void left by Tom and proved himself as the new drummer after a gig he did with Glazed having rehearsed only once. Recently they're booked for small scale gigs quite regularly. In May 2008 they then released a demo with which they hope to get the attention of a record label to get to the next stage in the music scene.
