Gizelle D'Cole is a Belgian-Paraguayan singer, actress, and model who rose to prominence in the Latin pop and dance-pop scenes during the late 1990s. D'Cole's musical breakthrough came after she met producer Ric Wake in Miami and Sony Music executive Tommy Mottola. She signed with Sony Music and released her self-titled debut album in 1999. "Come Baby Come": Her most famous hit, a collaboration with merengue star Elvis Crespo, which became a staple on Latin dance charts. Soundtrack Contributions: Her song "Revancha De Amor" was featured in the 1999 film Music of the Heart, and she performed "I Wanna (Shall We Dance)" for the 2004 film Shall We Dance?. Later Work: In 2008, she attempted a musical comeback with the rock-influenced single "Vanity," produced in collaboration with José Márquez Stefani.
