A very popular Pub Rock-Pop band in the South of the Netherlands (Limburg) during the 80's. Founded in August of 1977 by singer-songwriter Gé Reinders and drummer Henk Smeets. In the beginning Girls Walk By played covers of their own favourites, like The Band, Van Morrison, Bob Marley and Bruce Springsteen. Later on they play compositions of frontman Gé Reinders and guitarist Julien Van Loo. In 1979 there is a milestone being reached when Girls Walk By perform at Pinkpop, the most important pop festival in the Netherlands. In 2006 they held a reunion concert in Roggel.
