There are four bands known as Girlband: 1 ) Formed in 1999, Girlband has recorded three albums: Rock for Beginners (2001), Music to the Untrained Ear (2002), and One Disaster After Another (2003). After recording ODAA they went on to create the side project, My Bible Company. As MBC they created two thrashcore albums: Trying to get to France on a singing missionary journey the kids come up short in the money department (2003), and Blood Makes the Grass Grow (2004). You can find all their albums on Bandcamp. Cary (drummer) has a solo project called Hateful Julie which also has songs to download. On the 18th of April 2017, after a long hiatus, they released a new album The Letdown. 2) Girlband is an Australian pop group formed in 2006. There are four members, Renee Armstrong, Renee Bargh, Jess Smith and Patrice Tipoki. The four girls answered a casting call to form a world class four part harmony group for an Australian reality television series. Since then they have had a film crew following them the entire time, their journey that aired on the Channel 10 series Girlband in Australia from August through to October 2006. The girls released their first single Party Girl on October 7, 2006, it debuted and peaked at number 43 on the ARIA Charts. Their second single, Electric, was released on April 28, 2007. As of September 2019, no debut album neither any new singles were released and it seems that the band is inactive. 3) Girlband were a four-piece girl band from South-West
