Giriboy & Heize is a project by South Korean singers-songwriters Giriboy and Heize. The duo started working together in July 7, 2019, when Giriboy featured in Heize's single "We don't talk together". Although he didn't appeared in the music video, Giriboy participated in the live clip and they both performed the song at MMA 2019, were they won Best R&B/Soul . Later in the same year, Heize provided vocals for Giriboy's "Traffic Control", also appearing in a live clip. In 2020, Heize featured in his song "Acting". In 2021, they performed a cover of "What Would Have Been" by PSY for KBS Immortal Songs 2 and in 2022, Giriboy featured in Heize's song "I Don't Lie" for her sophomore album Undo. For a few years, Giriboy brought up the idea for a collaboration album after reading positive comments on their past songs. Heize, finally, decided to proceed with the ideia in 2025. Majorly of the album was done within a month. Their first extended play "Never Meant to Be" was released in January 26, 2026.
