Giovanni Cavaccio (b Bergamo, c 1556; d there, 11 Aug 1626 ) was an Italian composer. He was maestro di cappella of Bergamo Cathedral (1581-98) and of S Maria Maggiore there (1598-1626). He published at least 15 books of masses, Magnificats, psalms, hymns and motets, mostly for large forces in the Venetian polychoral style, as well as secular and keyboard works.
