Giona Ostinelli (born March 12, 1986) is a Swiss–Italian composer who resides and works in Los Angeles. He has written scores for over 28 feature films[1] that premiered at Sundance Film Festival,[2] Tribeca Film Festival,[3][4] Cannes International Film Festival,[5] South by Southwest Film Festival,[6][7] Fantastic Fest,[8] FrightFest,[9] Cincinnati Film Festival,[10] Hamptons International Film Festival,[11][12] Palm Springs International Film Festival,[13] Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival,[14][15] Chicago International Children's Film Festival, among others. Ostinelli's soundtrack for POD has been shortlisted for the Academy Awards for Best Original Score.[16] His score for Darling released by Lakeshore Records has been described as "one of the most interesting and innovative soundscapes..."[17] On television Ostinelli's most recognized work is the soundtrack for The Massively Mixed-Up Middle School Mystery that aired on Nickelodeon.[18][19] User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
