Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin (Japanese: 銀牙～流れ星銀～; Silver Fang: Meteor Gin, which is commonly known as Hopeanuoli in Finland ,Hundehvalpen Silver in Denmark; , Silver Fang in Sweden; and Ezüst Nyíl in Hungary), is a 21-episode, 1986 anime series. It is based on a 1984 manga of the same name created by Yoshihiro Takahashi. The series music is composed by Goro Ohmi and the series theme song is performed by Takayuki Miyauchi. The anime tells the story of an Akita Inu pup called Gin (Japanese for "silver") who leaves his master, a young boy named Daisuke, to join a pack of wild dogs. The pack is gathering strong dogs from all over Japan to fight a deranged bear named Akakabuto and his minions.
