More than one artist uses this name: 1) Gifthorse, also known as Gift Horse played instrumental, progressive, heavy, haunting, soundtrack skate rock in San Francisco, circa 1991-1996. Formed in '91, broke up in '94 shortly after releasing an eponymous CD. Gifthorse got back together for another recording and a few more shows in '95/'96. Members have gone on to numerous other projects including Doug's work with Bomb and Waycross, Dana in Bee and Flower and Jef's role in Lurker of Chalice and Leviathan.
