Giant Root Attack is a band from St. Helens, Merseyside. Formed from the ashes of Tuff Rock Dragons, they originally consisted of Buzz (guitar and vocals), Davi (bass), Rimmer (percussion and vocals) and Smackers (drums and vocals). After a while, Rimmer went to Spain, and the band continued without him, releasing an EP containing the songs "Harpoon", "Smooth Talker" and "Robots". Rimmer came back sooner or later, and sometime after that Smackers left the band. He was replaced by Keith Crooks (formerly of Halo Effect, Hundred Story High, The Ups and several other local bands). The band continued to write, record and perform, and released a second EP at some point last year.
