Ghost Among The Dead is a metalcore band hailing from Kingston, NY. After the break-up of Hands To Unmake, a local high school metalcore band that was rapidly gaining support and receiving press from the local hardcore scene at the time of its demise, members Jake and Rick were in search of talented musicians to create a new project. Without any hesitation, they joined forces with good friend Steven and ex-members of former local hardcore juggernaut, Hallow Legacy. Matt (Hoss), JakeÆs brother, and Josiah proved to be compatible with the three musicians, with a flurry of songwriting from the first practices. Without forcing the creative process and striving to set quotas on the amount of material they wrote, a completely new set was created, forsaking the songs of each former band, even those that had become dear to the hearts of the local faithful. With the emphasis on both an electrifying stage show and technical musicianship, Ghost Among The Dead looks to bring their passion for hardcore to those who also embrace it, and always tries to bring new faces to every show.
