Cameron Bina was born in Houston Texas, August 24th 1988. At a young age, Cameron was forced by his mother to take guitar lessons and then bass. The first band he was ever in was a group formed from his music studio called "The Oldies but Goodies Band". They were a charity cover group who went on to perform classic rock hits such as "Lyin' Eyes" "Johnny B. Good" "Maggie Mae" and " Barbara Ann" for retirement homes, mosques, hospitals, churches and other such venues. This went on for a few years until Cameron was in High School where he meet Cley Miller, Iram Guerro, Carlos and Jose Sanchez of the Young Mammals. They introduced him to a whole new world of music including The Beatles, The Pixies, The Strokes, Bob Dylan, Animal Collective, Daniel Johnston and other artist that would become highly influential for him. Being best friends, Cameron sat in on hundreds of practices, listening and observing how they made songs and sounds. The process bewildered and intrigued Cameron, who's life goal had been to become a stand-up comedian since he was in middle school. The moment where he had decided to become a creative musician, however, was the night Cameron had the opportunity to play bass for the Young Mammals in Austin right before their high school graduation. After that, he set his mind to writing songs, a painful process that lasted a year until anything promising was produced.
